ABRITES DIAGNOSTICS POUR TOYOTA/LEXUS/SCION

INTRODUCING

The ABRITES Diagnostics for Toyota, Lexus and Scion, provides users the ability to perform basic and advanced vehicle diagnostics on all vehicles of the brand.

STANDARD DIAGNOSTICS

The ABRITES diagnostic software for Toyota, Lexus and Scion allows users to perform complete module identification of the vehicle, reading and clearing DTCs, display of actual values/live data, actuator tests and suspension calibration, the latter being a very specific and useful functionality.

The advanced diagnostic capabilities of ABRITES products for Toyota, Lexus and Scion include key programming options, ECU reading and updating, as well as various calibrations.

ADVANCED DIAGNOSTIC CAPABILITIES

The advanced diagnostic capabilities enable users to perform complicated key programming procedures and are accessible via the ABRITES special functions.

The key programming capabilities of the ABRITES diagnostics software are comprehensive and reliable. Users can perform Master Key emulation and Emergency Start procedures on Smart Access System vehicles. Moreover, several specific and extremely useful functionalities are at their disposal: smart and mechanical key programming, Immobilizer/Smart system reset by diagnostic, Dump tool, identification Control Unit reset by LIN bus, ECU memory manager.

The advanced diagnostic capabilities enable users to perform complicated key programming procedures and are accessible via the ABRITES special function TN008.

TN008 enables users to emulate a Master key, which allows them to program keys to the vehicle. Emergency Start option allows moving the vehicle to a nearby location for service, which is invaluable help in various situations. Please note, that it has been tested only on European vehicles. Master Key emulation and Emergency Start requires the ABRITES Toyota Transponder Emulator (ZN039-2).

This special function allows key programming and cloning of H-type 128bit, “bladed key”, even in all keys lost situations. For this procedure ZN069 Toyota mechanical key (H-type) adapter set is required. The Transponder tool enables users to program keys by dump of smart system/immobilizer, identify transponders, clone ID67, ID68, ID70 and Texas fixed transponders, prepare ID67, ID68, ID70, or a custom key.

Cloning of DST 80 transponders, a.k.a. Toyota "G" chips is also made possible.  The Dump tool allows resetting all immobilizers and smart systems by dump with Texas DST-128 keys or MASTER key (DST-128). Programming by dump of the smart access system is also available. Special function TN008 makes automatic dump detection possible, as well as wide range of activities, like ECU virginising, immobiliser reset, Smart system reset, key preparation by dump, instrument cluster recalibration, immobiliSer bypass, SRS crash data reset.

ID-box reset by LIN connection is available, as well as flashing EDC16, EDC17 by ECU flasher.

ECM memory manager allows reading by diagnostic of flash memory/EEPROM of engine control modules produced by BOSCH (1ND-TV 1.4 D4D, 4ZZ-FE 1.4, 1KR-FE 1.0, 1NR-FE 1.33, 1SZ-FE 1.0). Flash programming available for engine types 1ND-TV.

ID CODE BOX RESET

The latest addition to the advanced diagnostic capabilities are the ABRITES special functions TN009.

The TN009 allows ID Code Box reset in all Toyota, Lexus and Scion vehicles. This function enables technicians who frequently work with these vehicles to resolve previously difficult and time-consuming situations in minutes. The functionality is now available for ALL Toyota vehicles, including the latest generation produced after 2018 and for ID Code Boxes without an external EEPROM.

The procedure now takes less than 10 seconds (compared to several hours in previous versions)!

The reset of the ID Code Box opens up many possibilities for those working on Toyota vehicles, mainly due to its location and the long time it takes for the vehicle to be dismantled until the ID Code Box is removed. These include:
  • Key programming situations - for vehicles manufactured after 2018, where key programming requires a new set comprising an ID Code Box, Smart System and keys, users can use also second hand Smart systems (with available keys) as a plug and play solution once the ID Code Box has been reset.
  • Smart system defect - in this case, just like in key programming situations all modules would have to be replaced. The reset of the ID Code Box allows you to exchange only the Smart system and the keys and both new and second-hand Smart systems can be used (second-hand smart systems need to have keys available).
